Job summary

Christian Care Mesquite is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to prepare and administer medications and document residents' conditions in the EHR. Strong communication, team orientation, and reliable transportation are essential.

The role requires CMA certification, CNA certification, High School diploma, CMA course completion, and at least 1 year of related experience (5 years preferred). Exemption status is non-exempt.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, other teammates, and supervisor.
• Prepare and administer medications per physician orders and in accordance with federal/state regulations and facility policies.
• Perform vital signs as assigned and document.
• Document resident conditions and needs in all EHRs according to facility procedures.
• Reports all incidents and/or complaints according to facility procedures.
• Promotes resident independence and interaction to support mental and physical well-being.
• Perform daily care per the resident's care plan and facility standards.
