Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The CMA ensures timely and accurate med passes to maintain high-quality resident care at all times.

The role requires current CMA certification and effective English communication, with prior patient care experience preferred. Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience is preferred.
• Must hold current Medication Aide certification.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition to the Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in meetings, trainings, and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
