Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer prescribed medications and provide compassionate daily care to our residents in a senior living setting.

You will work under licensed staff supervision to ensure accuracy, safety, and dignity in every interaction, supporting wellness and quality of life for residents in a warm, home-like community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CMA program that meets state requirements.
• Active CMA certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Document care and medication administration accurately.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support team members and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
