Job summary

Seward County Community College in Liberal, KS seeks a CMA Instructor to teach Certified Medical Assistant courses and Medical Terminology, including laboratory supervision.

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse with at least three years of long-term care or clinical experience; valid Kansas RN license and BLS certification are required. A Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing is preferred and prior college teaching is a plus. This is a full-time position with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in Kansas and BLS certification.
• Three+ years of long-term care/clinical experience required.
• Teaching experience in community college or secondary education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach CMA and Medical Terminology courses including lab supervision.
• Develop syllabi, facilitate student learning in classroom and lab settings.
• Recruit, advise, tutor, and evaluate students; some evenings and travel may be required.
