Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Maternal Fetal Medicine OP Clinic. You will work closely with the primary care physician to provide excellent patient care and ensure services stay within Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include chart review, vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms for examinations. A High School diploma or GED and MA certification are required, with BLS certification preferred; 1 year MA experience is a plus, 2 years

Qualifikationen

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from the listed bodies (required within 12 months of start).
• BLS Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required at hire where applicable.
• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience (preferred)
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred)
• Strong customer service, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Greets patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Reviews and updates patient charts and health records.
• Measures vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Performs clerical duties: inventory, track referrals, answer phones.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
