Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program. Required
• Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a MA/LPN obtained through professional MA/LPN work experience or completion of student clinical rotations. Required
• Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant Preferred
• Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Preferred

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital signs.
• Coordinate provider schedules and enter orders.
• Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure.
• Prepare patients and assist with in-office procedures; administer medications/immunizations.
