Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a MA.
• Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (AAMA) upon hire required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs and document backgrounds.
• Coordinate provider schedules and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families within licensure/certification scope.
• Assist with in-office procedures and administer medications/immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and supply levels and ensure infection control.
