Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA seeks a Clinical Support role (CMA/LPN) to provide direct nursing care and assist physicians in a fast-paced clinic. The base pay range for CMA/LPN roles is $22.03–$33.70 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $2.00/hr float pool incentive in addition to hourly wages.

Eligible candidates will be LPN/CMA licensed in Virginia, CPR certified, and able to meet the physical and mental demands of a busy practice.

Qualifications

• LPN/CMA license issued by Virginia.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a physician office preferred.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients under physician supervision.
• Assist in administration and maintenance of clinic operations.
• Document duties accurately per the medical model and physician directions.

Pay Transparency Disclosure:

Compensation listed represents the base range for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Rates for individuals hired as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are currently between $22.03- 33.70/ hr., based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

This role is eligible for a $5,000.00 Sign On Bonus.

This role is also eligible for a $2.00/hr. float pool incentive on top of the hourly rate.

The office nurse - float pool, will provide clinical support to the physician as needed and will provide direct nursing care to patients. Duties include performing as a member of the team and assisting in the administration and maintenance of an efficiently operated clinic. Accurately performs and documents assigned duties under the direction and supervision of the physician in accordance with the medical model of care as provided by the State Board of Nursing.

Initiates implementation of processes and|or has access to all operational components of the office as required by daily operations

Access to operational components of a practice includes access to physician’s office, medical records, medical supplies and locked drug closets|refrigerators.

Requirements:

• LPN/CMA by the state of Virginia.
• CPR certified.
• Previous physician office experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical and mental requirements of a fast paced physician practice
