AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support daily clinic operations and patient care. You will room patients, take vital signs, document histories, assist physicians with examinations and procedures, and administer medications as needed following nursing protocols.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely visits, adherence to infection prevention guidelines, and high-quality patient care.

Competenze

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Completion of AHMG medical assistant training/apprenticeship may substitute.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required/verified during onboarding.
• CMA/CMAC/ARMA/AMT/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA or equivalent medical assistant certifications required.

Mansioni

• Delegates duties to office staff, manages clinic operations and ensures adherence to standards.
• Serves as point of contact for daily clinic operations and resolves issues.
• Conducts training sessions and ensures infection prevention guidelines are followed.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to implement best practices and maintain high standards of care.
• Rooms patients, takes vital signs, documents visits, and assists providers with examinations.
• Administers medications and maintains competency through ongoing evaluations.
• Maintains nursing supplies and equipment, reports needs to leadership.
• Provides direct patient care and supports front-line staff in daily operations.
