Job summary

Matrix Providers is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support practitioners conducting Veteran Disability Exams at the La Crosse, WI site. The role involves patient prep, assist during examinations, and performing select tests (EKG, PFTs, ABI) under supervision.

The CMA will handle phlebotomy where required, provide clerical support, and work full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a bi-weekly pay. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life coverage.

Qualifications

• Maintains CMA certification if required by state operation.
• Phlebotomy certification required when state requires it.
• Active BLS certification is required.
• Must pass NACI background check.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and ability to drive between locations.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Willingness to complete CAOCH and Drug Testing Collection certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient preparation and examinations.
• Perform selected patient and laboratory tests (ECG, PFTs, ABI, venipuncture) as required.
• Possible phlebotomy under onsite supervision.
• Escort/chaperone patients as needed.
• Support clinical care team and back-office duties as needed.
