Job summary

CenterPoint Health - Georgetown is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to float between Georgetown Medical Group locations. This full-time daytime role supports clinical and front-office functions and offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus with a six-month commitment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The team is part of Lifepoint Health and emphasizes patient care near home in central Kentucky.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or to be completed.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program is preferred.
• Certification as CMA/CCMA/RMA is required.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
• Take vital signs, document patient history, and update EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections.
• Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education.
