Position: CMA / EMT / LPN

What you will do
- Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
- Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders, and prepare patient charts.
- Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
- Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards. Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
Education Qualifications
- Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, or graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing (Required).
Experience Qualifications
- Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred).
- Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (Preferred).
- Previous experience working as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (Preferred).
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of principles and skills needed for practical nurse or medical assistant to provide patient care.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

- Proficiency in EMR systems, computer, phone, and office equipment.

Licenses and Certifications
- If holding other licenses that supersede CMA/RMA license, practice to the highest level of licensure with written approval from Quality Resources, kept on file with the supervisor. Maintain licensure to continue working at higher levels.
- Certified as a Medical Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in WI through an approved accreditor (Required upon hire).
- Valid Practical Nursing license in WI (Required upon hire).
- Licensed EMT or AEMT, maintain credential throughout employment (Required upon hire).
- CPS/BLS Certification from an approved program or Prevea-sponsored program (Required upon hire).
