Avir at Santa Fe in Weatherford, Texas seeks a CMA-Certified Medication Aide to provide compassionate care to residents. You will administer medications, assist with ADLs, document care, and work under licensed nurses to support wellbeing.

Competenze

• CMA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior long-term care or healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, under the supervision of a licensed nursing professional.
• Monitor resident's responses to medications and report any adverse reactions to the nursing staff.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide basic care and assistance with ADLs, including feeding, toileting, and transferring patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and promote a positive atmosphere among residents and staff.
