Job summary

Margate Health and Rehabilitation in Jefferson, North Carolina seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CMA/CNA must be certified in North Carolina and will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, RN or LPN, recording vital signs and delivering medications as prescribed.

You will also provide daily resident care according to each personal care plan with compassion.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as CMA and CNA in a skilled nursing facility.
• Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and RN/LPN, CMA will record vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide daily nursing care per the resident care plan with patience and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and observe patient responses.
• Administer prescribed medications to residents.
• Complete treatments as prescribed by health care provider.
• Observe, document, and report responses per state and federal guidelines.
• Provide daily nursing care per the personal care plan.
