Job summary

Mission Health Communities in Pittsburg, KS is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our clinical team. This full-time role offers $18 to $19.80 per hour and a $2,500 sign-on bonus, plus medical, dental, vision and other benefits. You pass medications as prescribed by the physician and provide direct resident care under a licensed nurse, while observing changes in condition and maintaining HIPAA compliance. A warm, team-oriented environment and CEU reimbursement are included.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas CMA license.
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly
• Geriatric nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Observe and report changes in condition, appetite, attitude, or behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance and follow facility policies.
