We are seeking a dedicated CMA-Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Avir at Santa Fe in Weatherford, Texas. You will provide compassionate care to residents and play a vital role in administering medications and supporting daily living activities.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, under supervision of a licensed nursing professional.
• Monitor residents' responses to medications and report adverse reactions to nursing staff.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide basic care and assistance with ADLs, including feeding, toileting, and transferring patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and resident care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and promote a positive atmosphere among residents and staff.
