Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as ordered by a physician under supervision, following regulations and facility policies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
  • Accurately record medication and treatment administration.
  • Observe and report reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse.
  • Administer PRN medications per regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
  • State certification as a nurse aide.
  • State-approved medication administration certification.
  • Familiarity with nurse aide duties.
  • Strong observation skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
