Compensation: Pay Range: $15.00 - $23.55 / hour. Description: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, perform clinical procedures to prepare patients and/or research participants for treatment or research protocols. Assist physicians or other healthcare team members with treatment/protocol completion. Perform simple, non-invasive patient procedures as per applicable policies and protocols. May handle clerical and lab duties as requested. Respond to the needs of patients of all ages from newborn to geriatric.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required. Certification from another accrediting agency must be obtained within six months of employment. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty days of employment.
