Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in providing quality medical care.
• Accurately enter charges on patient accounts, register patients, and update patient information.
• Verify insurance and record relevant statistics.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phones, informing providers of changes, and explaining patient benefits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education/Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Experience

• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
