Job summary

Sandy Health and Rehab in Sandy, Utah seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to manage medications, document administration in the eMAR system, and support resident care under physician orders and care plans.

Applicants should have CMA certification, CPR, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior long-term care or geriatric experience is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits including insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret basic scientific and technical information in English.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in spoken English.
• Perform basic math, including calculations with standard and weight measurements.
• Demonstrate empathy and strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA certification required; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medication carts and supplies; monitor inventory and reorder as needed.
• Accurately document all administrations in the eMAR system.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and resident care plans.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes to licensed nursing staff or department leaders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and team operations.
