Job summary

Atlas is seeking a CM Inspector 2 based in Marysville, Washington, to provide QA inspection support for heavy civil infrastructure projects. Applicants should have at least 4 years of relevant construction quality experience or equivalent education. Responsibilities include composing inspection reports and monitoring materials for compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of construction quality experience or 5 years on civil, residential, commercial, or transit projects.
• Required specialty certifications: WAQTC, ACI, and one or more WABO/ICC Special Inspector Certifications.
• Ability to interpret contract plans and specifications and perform/check engineering calculations.

Job Overview

We are seeking a CM Inspector 2 to provide QA inspection support for heavy civil infrastructure projects. This role requires 4+ years of road/bridge/transportation related experience or equivalent education and expertise in construction quality for civil infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

• Compose daily inspection reports.
• Track materials for contract compliance.
• Observe testing of field related materials.
• Review quality control plans.
• Monitor field testing throughout the project.

Qualifications

• 4 years of construction quality experience and/or a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; or 5 years of construction quality experience on civil, residential, commercial, or transit projects.
• Navigate uneven surfaces, lift up to 30 lbs, and climb stairs and ladders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with mobile computing tools including Outlook, Bluebeam, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Required specialty certifications: WAQTC, ACI, and one or more WABO/ICC Special Inspector Certifications.
• Ability to interpret contract plans and specifications and perform/ check engineering calculations.
• Willingness to travel for Western Washington per diem projects; flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and perform emergency callout/standby.
