Responsibilities

Central Market is seeking a Production Representative with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest quality of ingredients. Assignments will vary depending on the department in the store. Duties of this position include:

1. Mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping, and stocking of products.
2. Ensuring quality control of all product before sending to sales floor.
3. Maintaining sanitation in the department.
4. Maintaining organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in, and production area.
5. Reading and executing daily production list.
6. Providing customer service as required, such as answering questions and taking orders on the phone.
7. Assisting in monitoring the quality of goods and monitoring shrink.
8. Ordering and receiving products and supplies.
9. Maintaining transfer records.
10. Prepping, wrapping, pricing, selling, and stocking products continuously.
11. Demos or preparing customer samples for self-serve.
12. Providing superlative customer service.
13. Using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

Requirements

1. Experience with commercial production preferred.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to handle stressful situations.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
5. Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.).
6. Bend, reach, push, and pull.
7. Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
8. Knowledge and preparation of baking goods preferred.
