Responsibilities

Summary/Responsibilities of this position: Central Market is seeking a Production Representative with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest, quality ingredients. Assignments will vary depending on the department in-store. Duties include:

1. Mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping, and stocking products
2. Ensuring quality control of all products before they go to the sales floor
3. Maintaining sanitation in the department
4. Organizing back storage, freezer, walk-in, and production areas
5. Reading and executing the daily production list
6. Providing customer service, including answering questions and taking orders by phone
7. Monitoring the quality of goods and shrink
8. Ordering and receiving products and supplies
9. Maintaining transfer records
10. Prepping, wrapping, pricing, selling, and stocking products continuously
11. Demos or preparing customer samples for self-serve
12. Providing excellent customer service
13. Using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales

Requirements

• Experience with commercial production preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.)
• Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull
• Flexibility to work overnight, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
