Responsibilities

Summary/Responsibilities of this position: Central Market is seeking a Production Representative with availability to include days, evenings, and weekends to handle the freshest, high-quality ingredients. Assignments will vary depending on the department in the store. Duties include:

1. Mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping, and stocking products.
2. Ensuring quality control of all products before sending to the sales floor.
3. Maintaining sanitation in the department.
4. Organizing back storage, freezer, walk-in, and production areas.
5. Reading and executing daily production lists.
6. Providing customer service, including answering questions and taking orders via phone.
7. Monitoring the quality of goods and shrinkage.
8. Ordering and receiving products and supplies.
9. Maintaining transfer records.
10. Prepping, wrapping, pricing, selling, and stocking products continuously.
11. Demonstrating or preparing customer samples for self-serve.
12. Providing excellent customer service.
13. Using suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

Requirements

• Experience with commercial production preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.).
• Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull.
• Flexibility to work overnight, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge and experience in baking preferred.
