Job summary

Minor International is seeking a Cluster Assistant IT Manager to support the Cluster IT Manager in overseeing hotel technology operations, ensuring reliability, security and guest-facing systems across properties.

You will assist in planning, implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure, manage vendor relationships and budgets, lead staff training, and participate in 24/7 support cycles for critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 3 years of IT management experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality software systems, networks, servers and cloud services.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, data protection laws and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure across hotels.
• Support critical hotel systems (PMS, POS, key card access, IP telephony, CCTV, guest Wi-Fi).
• Enforce cybersecurity protocols, ensure backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide IT support across departments, troubleshoot issues and train staff on IT systems and policies.
• Liaise with external IT vendors and corporate IT teams for support and upgrades.
• Assist with IT budgeting, procurement and asset inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry regulations.
• Participate in 24/7 support rotation for critical system issues and emergencies.
