Centered in the heart of Johns Creek, Georgia, St Ives Country Club has maintained a standard of private club excellence since 1989. We are seeking a Floor Manager for our recently renovated Turnberry Pub & Patio located on the lower level of our clubhouse. The Turnberry Pub & Patio Floor Manager is a salaried exempt role that reports to theBeverage Director/Service Manager.
The St Ives Turnberry Pub & Patio Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations andensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and overall guest experience in the restaurant. This leadership rolerequires a strong, visible presence on the restaurant floor with a primary focus on mentoring, training, anddeveloping front-of-house staff. The Floor Manager plays a vital role in executing a premium service program whilealso helping to design and deliver exceptional social events and dining experiences.
As a key representative of the Food & Beverage team, the Floor Manager will spend significant time interacting with St Ivesmembers and guests across the property, offering personalized recommendations and cultivating both professionaland personal connections. This is a high-profile management position within St Ives Country Club and serves as oneof the prominent faces of F&B leadership to both members and staff.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Establish and maintain a welcoming, professional relationship with all St Ives members and employees.
- Assist in creating and managing F&B staff schedules.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate all front-of-house F&B staff.
- Promptly address and resolve guest concerns related to food, beverages, and service to ensure a positive diningexperience.
- Act as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain open, effective communication with culinary staff and all food and beverage outlet teams to support smooth operations.
- Ensure all side work is completed at the start and end of each shift.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings for both lunch and dinner service.
- Recommend improvements related to service, hours of operation, menus, and other dining-related areas.
- Attend scheduled Banquet Event Order (BEO) staff meetings.
- Maintain working knowledge of all menus and beverage programs.
- Supervise daily F&B operations in all member dining outlets at St Ives.
- Remain fully knowledgeable of all statutory requirements for F&B operations, ensuring all licenses (includingspecial permits) are applied for and maintained without jeopardizing compliance.
- Conduct or facilitate on-the-job training to uphold the highest professional standards.
- Ensure all St Ives F&B staff follow established policies and procedures.
- Engage with members and guests daily to maximize satisfaction, address inquiries, and ensure cleanliness andservice standards are upheld.
- Continuously enhance member and guest satisfaction by handling concerns politely, calmly, and constructively.
- Communicate effectively with event coordinators and ensure accurate billing and follow-up for events.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Assistant F&B Director in a timely manner.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twistor reach.
- Push, pull, and/or lift to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Club & Restaurant Operating Hours: 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. Weekends, Holidays, and Weekdays (Closed Mondays)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Must be physically able to perform job duties with good eyesight (with/without correction) and good hearing (with/without correction).
- Must fluently speak and read English using good grammar.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.

- Must hold a current Johns Creek Pouring Permit(MUST BE OBTAINED DURING ONBOARDING PROCESS IF NOT ALREADY IN POSSESSION)
- TIPS Alcohol Certification(WILL PROVIDE APPLICATION UPON EMPLOYMENT).
- NorthStar Systems & POS knowledge (or familiarity) is a plus.
- Must have a working knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, along with their proper service.
- Must have at least two years of Food & Beverage FOH experience in an active and high-volume environment.
- Private club experience preferred.
- Previous management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, members, andguests.
- Must be alert, safety-conscious, and capable of responding calmly and swiftly in emergency situations.
- Demonstrates professionalism, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to adjust to changing schedules, shifts, and priorities, includingevenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
- Efficiently complete assigned tasks and consistently perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptionalservice that exceeds member expectations.
