Job summary

The Olympic Club seeks a Lakeside Clubhouse Director of Operations to lead the member experience across dining, events, and front-office operations. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach with staff, collaboration across departments, and a focus on delivering exceptional service aligned with club traditions.

The ideal candidate brings strong budgeting skills, proven staff development, and experience navigating a unionized workforce, with a commitment to maintaining elite member

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalency in Business, Economics, Hospitality or related field.
• Experience managing a unionized workforce (preferred).
• Fluent English in spoken and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone as the leader and evaluate the culture of Lakeside Clubhouse for staff and managers with recommendations for improvements.
• Organize, develop and lead a team of entry-level and emerging mid-managers.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, find solutions and implement them.
• Create a work environment where various teams and departments work collaboratively and in synchrony.
• Observe the Clubhouse experience through the eyes of a member and adjust hospitality offerings accordingly.
• Display positive, consistent leadership with strong organizational and time management skills.
