Description

Raintree Country Club is seeking a 2nd Shift Clubhouse Maintenance/Porter. Qualified candidates must thrive in a private country club environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to club members. The position ensures that the clubhouse is presentable and secure during the afternoon to evening hours. This position requires physical labor and attention to detail as well as professionalism and excellent communication skills.

• Moves and sets furniture according to event schedules and environment.
• Assists Food and Beverage associates tearing down and arranges furniture according to default settings following events.
• Communicates with Facilities Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, and Catering Director to coordinate their needs.
• May be required to log onto clubhouse software to gather needed information to ready rooms.
• Performs light cleaning/tidying to keep up clubhouse appearance, taking appropriate care with cleaning chemicals.
• Conducts routine building inspections assigned, including inspecting floor coverings, window coverings, walls, ceilings, air vents and returns, electrical fixtures, and plumbing fixtures.
• Performs repairs and maintenance tasks under the direction of Facilities Manager.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Monitors fitness room for appropriate policies and procedures of members.
• Secures building at the end of the night when needed.
• Must be able to move and connect portable audio-visual devices, properly testing setup for safe and comfortable use during events.
• Demonstrates respect and appreciation of the members and guests, with the intention of creating a welcoming environment.
• Has a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication skills.
• Practices attention to detail.
• Adapts to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Other duties as requested by supervisor.

Compensation:

$18 - $20 an hour based on maintenance experience
