Willow Creek Country Club is seeking a dependable Clubhouse Custodian to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff at the Sandy, Utah club.

Responsibilities include general cleaning of the clubhouse, restrooms, lounges, dining areas, and event spaces, with duties spanning from sweeping and mopping to reporting maintenance concerns. The role requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Custodial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning throughout the clubhouse, including dining areas, offices, hallways, locker rooms, restrooms, lounges, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and carpets as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, showers, and other fixtures.
• Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other necessary items.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, counters, fixtures, doors, windowsills, and other surfaces.
• Clean glass, mirrors, windows, and doors as assigned.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of member and employee common areas.
• Assist with cleaning before, during, and after Club events and functions as needed.
• Respond promptly to spills, messes, and other cleaning needs that arise during a shift.
• Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies and notify management when additional supplies are needed.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, damage, or potential safety hazards.
• Properly use, store, and maintain cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
• Keep janitorial closets and storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow established safety procedures and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Perform other custodial and general facility duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

Willow Creek Country Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Clubhouse Custodian to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our members, guests, and employees.

The Clubhouse Custodian is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of the clubhouse and other assigned areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and is able to recognize and address cleaning needs without always requiring specific direction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general cleaning throughout the clubhouse, including dining areas, offices, hallways, locker rooms, restrooms, lounges, and other common areas.

• Ability to recognize and address cleaning needs without requiring specific direction.
• Professional and courteous when interacting with Club members, guests, and coworkers.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to regularly bend, reach, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies, trash, and other materials associated with normal custodial work.
• Ability to safely operate standard commercial cleaning equipment.
