Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City seeks a Supervisor for the Clubhouse childcare spaces to lead staff, ensure safe, engaging activities for ages 3 months to 11 years, and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include training and supervising Leads, Attendants and event staff, coordinating special events, maintaining supplies, and partnering with the Clubhouse Manager to address staffing and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with children from infant to elementary school.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
• Experience in training, scheduling, and supervising employees preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to plan activities.
• Ability to build relationships with children and families.
• Ability to work a variable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach staff to engage children and communicate performance issues.
• Provide hands-on support during direct service hours.
• Oversee birthday parties and special events, including marketing and registration.
• Complete weekly supply checks and submit purchase orders.
• Inspect equipment and play structures for safety and quality.
• Coordinate operations with the Clubhouse Manager.
