The JCC of Greater Kansas City in Overland Park, KS seeks a Director for its Child Development Center (CDC). You will provide leadership for high-quality, full-day early childhood education for ages 12 months through five years, oversee operations, staffing, enrollment, family experience, and budget, and ensure licensing and safety.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, education administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred for leadership in education administration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and accountability for high‑quality, safe, inclusive, mission‑aligned programming.
• Lead CDC Leadership Team and supervise multiple roles including Assistant Directors and coordinators.
• Own enrollment, retention, family experience, staffing strategy, and financial performance.
• Develop and manage the CDC budget; monitor enrollment, labor, revenue, expenses, and variances.
• Maintain licensing, regulatory compliance, safety, program quality, and operational readiness.
• Supervise Assistant Directors to ensure curriculum implementation and teacher development.
• Partner with Inclusion Specialist to ensure inclusive practices and family partnership.
• Build and maintain relationships with families and serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Lead recruitment and retention strategy and participate in hiring for leadership, teaching, and administrative roles.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Marketing to support CDC operations.
• Use program data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
