Job summary

PGA National Resort & Spa is seeking a Birdie's Server for a part-time role in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with a focus on courtesy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include maintaining station cleanliness, coordinating with the kitchen, and handling guest requests with professionalism. Florida food handler and alcohol awareness certs are required or obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Server experience preferred or related food serving experience.
• General knowledge of serving.

Responsibilities

• Set up station/table and side work.
• Maintain the proper condition and cleanliness of serving equipment.
• Greet guests and establish identity of member.
• Take orders and serve food and beverage requests using suggestive selling for Chef's specials or fish of the day.
• Clear tables during service.
• Handle guest requests and follow proper guest check procedures.
• Maintain communication with kitchen and precheck orders before receiving food.
• Inform Supervisor of problems or complaints.
• Perform assigned cleaning tasks.
• Responsible for payment of check and other duties by Supervisor/Manager.
• Responsible for service items, carts, kitchen and cleaning equipment.
• Must have Florida food handlers and alcohol awareness certifications or acquire within 30 days.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.
