Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Taste completed meals to ensure quality.
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
  • Store, label, and date all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
  • Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
  • Serve customers efficiently and friendly.
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grill, serving customers at multiple stations.
  • Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
  • Resolve customer concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
