What’s the role?

Club Operations Manager

Who we are…

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened a Ned’s Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location.

The property…

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW.

The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

As the Club Operations Manager you will report to the Head of Club F&B Operations and play an integral part of the F&B Operations team. You will

  • Lead shifts across Kaia, The Gallery, Founders Dining Room and the Club Bars, upholding service standards for consistency, pacing and member engagement.
  • Build daily floor plans, section assignments and staffing allocations to ensure coverage across all outlets and events.
  • Prepare and deliver pre-shift lineups covering menu changes, 86s, member and founder notes, and event details.
  • Coordinate with the culinary, bar and events teams before each service. This includes reviewing BEOs and confirming every team is briefed and ready to execute.
  • Lead product training on The Ned's food and drink program through storytelling, demos and guest speakers.
  • Build weekly schedules in Dayforce against labor targets set by the Head of Club F&B Operations.
  • Conduct daily time-card audits, manage punch and break corrections, and flag overtime risk.
  • Own operating supplies and smallwares, including pars, ordering, and breakage and glassware tracking, within budget.
  • Coordinate inventory counts to ensure timely, accurate submission, and follow up on variances with Finance.
  • Compile daily and weekly performance reports from Micros covering covers, average check, spend per head and dining time.
  • Prepare data for weekly financial reviews.
  • Partner with People & Development on hourly recruitment, including scheduling interviews, identifying talent gaps and providing detailed candidate feedback.
  • Manage new-hire onboarding and training plans so that the floor team is polished, elevated and approachable.
  • Maintain training records and certification tracking (ServSafe, TIPS, ABRA).
  • Draft and track hourly staff performance reviews in partnership with outlet managers.

What you can bring to the role:

  • 5+ years in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or high-end multi-outlet environments
