The Club Manager is responsible for collaborating with the leadership to plan, lead, and coordinate club operations. This Club Manager will effectively lead the golf operations, outside service, and food & beverage teams to provide and promote an exceptional golf experience. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a food & beverage or golf operations role, supervising others, a customer service attitude, as well as strong attention to detail in planning and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities include the following: Others duties may be assigned.

  1. Responsible for the selection, development, leadership and retention of talented staff.
  2. Ensure financial targets are being met and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently.
  3. Ensure proper controls are in place and being followed to accurately track revenues, payroll, inventories and expenses.
  4. Ensure staff is providing excellent guest service. Review guest and member surveys and feedback and determine appropriate plan of action if necessary.
  5. Assist with Marketing initiatives by acting as Social Media coordinator and creating promotional materials as directed by the Regional Vice President and/or Corporate Marketing.
  6. Work with Regional Vice President to create and execute short term and long term operational and financial plans to improve quality and financial results.
  7. Administration and oversight of club programs such as golf cart rental program and handicap program.
  8. Retail and merchandising responsibilities to include displaying inventory in a clean and attractive manner, completing inventories, cost of goods reports and ensuring proper controls are being followed.
  9. Golf systems administration to include reservation system maintenance and accuracy and green fee accuracy on website and other sources.
  10. Maintains constant communication between departments and keeps other departments informed about special programs and events.

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in a golf operations or Food & Beverage role
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  3. Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
  4. Experience supervising others and leading a team
  5. Excellent customer skills
