Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a maintenance/janitorial team member to uphold safety and cleanliness across the club environment. You will move carts, perform cleaning tasks, and ensure a welcoming, safe space for members and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to club standards, and flexible upkeep of indoor and outdoor spaces to support a high-value shopping experience for members.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service.
• Maintains high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.
• Keeps club areas clean including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning tasks and notifies management of major repairs.
