Job summary

Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa is seeking a guest services associate to support operations in our downtown Anchorage location. You will handle cash bank, process payments, and ensure accurate guest billing while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include MICROS system checks, maintaining the floor plan, coordinating host stand duties, and working as part of a dynamic team to create memorable experiences for guests. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends may be required.

Job Description

What you will be doing

• Obtainand assume responsibility for cash bank. Handle cash transactions accurately, quickly, carefully and responsibly.
• Controlguest checks to prevent loss, theft or mishandling. Follow proper procedures with regard to check issuance and control. Collect payment from guest/server. Accurately and efficiently count and give change to guest/server. Ensure correct amount of cash is given on money transactions.
• CheckMICROS machines to make sure they are set up to the proper menu. Have complete knowledge of MICROS system (or register).
• Fillout floor plan by checking station rotation chart. Assign side work schedule on floor plan. Post floor plan at host stand.

• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
