Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a Club Houseman to support daily pool operations, cottage exterior maintenance, laundry, and guest services. This role involves physical tasks, handling linens, delivering items, and assisting guests and staff as needed.

Requirements include ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand most of the day, and a valid driver's license. Training provided; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Some work experience desired, but will train.
• Ability to bend, stretch and lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 90% of the day.
• Able to withstand varying weather conditions.
• Congenial personality; able to interact well with others.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs on a regular basis.
• Able to work well without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Open pools daily and prepare pool decks, umbrellas and chairs.
• Maintain exterior of cottages and public areas; pressure wash and clean as needed.
• Extract dirty linen and trash from cottages; deliver clean linen.
• Deliver guest requests and items to cottages; transport staff between locations.
• Stock supplies and maintain warehouse; laundry duties per procedures.
• Interacts with guests and members; assist with basic tasks and respond to issues.

Job description

• One of five Club Houseman that will open up the 5 pools daily, including blowing off the pool decks, opening up the umbrellas, making sure the chairs are in position, removing any trash from previous night & any other duties deemed necessary.


• Maintain the exterior of the cottages, and the public areas through the use of pressure washing, removing cobwebs, window washing or any other duties deemed necessary


• Extract dirty linen, terry and trash from cottages.


• Place clean linen and terry into cottages.


• Deliver guest requests and assorted items to cottages.


• Transport Housekeepers between cottage locations and Central Services


• Stock supplies and maintain warehouse


• Laundry (such as washes, dries, and folds room and table linen by following prescribed methods and procedures for washing, drying, folding, and sorting operations)


• Maintains a clean, pleasant, and neat image


• Communicate with supervisors regarding work issues or concerns


• Interact and assist guests and members as needed, i.e. plunging toilets, television remote operation


• Performs ant duties asked of by leadership

Safety Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Performs job responsibilities and operates equipment according to the company safety and training programs


• Reports safety or hazard concerns to management


• Reports any on the job injury to management


• Takes personal responsibility for safety every day
