Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a General Manager in Training to partner with the club's current leadership in directing overall operations, achieving financial goals, and delivering exceptional member service.

You will participate in Life Time Education trainings and support a large team to uphold The Life Time Way. You will cast, coach, and develop Department Managers, ensuring a memorable experience for members while maintaining strong in-center performance.

Qualifications

HS Graduate or Equivalent.
3 years of experience in the fitness, hospitality or retail industry.
2 years of management experience.
Understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
CPR and AED Certified.

Responsibilities

Attends required General Manager Certification trainings and presents on the business plan.
Performs daily walk-through inspections to ensure the club is clean, neat and organized.
Studies Net Satisfaction Scores to ensure the best member experience.
Monitors budgets and forecasts revenue and expenses for each department.
Mentors Department Managers to ensure growth through training and feedback.
Co-facilitates Weekly Department Manager Meetings.
Participates in quarterly club assessments with leadership.
Authorizes new hires, promotions, and status changes with Department Managers.
Guides and executes the Manager on Duty program.
