Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our health clubs well maintained and safe. You will perform maintenance and repairs on various assets, verify system parameters, and respond promptly to repair requests, ensuring a positive experience for members and guests.

This role requires 3–4 years of facility maintenance, the ability to lift 20+ lbs, and CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire. It is an hourly, full‑time position based in Northbrook, IL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–4 years of facility maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Ability to bend and lift more than 20 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to move around the club for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs on assets (millwork, plumbing, lighting, pool systems, laundry equipment).
• Verifies temperatures, pressures and chemistry meet requirements via logs/inspections.
• Responds to and prioritizes repair requests and emergencies.
• Records all maintenance activity in Maintenance Tracking software.
