Job summary

Maverick Golf and Ranch Club, located just outside Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities Department. The role involves performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting building systems, and ensuring safe, efficient operations for club facilities and related structures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and hands-on experience with general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in general maintenance and use of hand tools (painting, sanding, basic electrical).
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks and clogs.
• Carpentry ability for basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair tasks as directed by Facilities and Operations management.
• Monitor operation and proper use of all equipment and systems.
• Maintain all operation buildings/structures and temporary office trailers.
• Trouble shoot and repair issues throughout the club and community.
• Respond to maintenance calls for assistance.
• Identify safety hazards and required maintenance.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors on scope of repairs.
• Communicate with department heads and members on tasks.
• Assist in fire and life safety system maintenance.
• Manage building check lists and schedule adherence.
• Know emergency and safety plans; respond to emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
