Job summary

Sonnenalp Hotel in Edwards, CO is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth daily operation and guest-facing reliability. You will maintain refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems with minimal supervision, while also handling requests and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 3–5 years in engineering/building maintenance, hands-on capability with electrical work, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach. 2–3 workdays weekly with wage $22–$28/hour DOE.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of engineering/building maintenance experience.
• Experience with painting, drywall repair and picture hanging.
• Ability to work with others courteously in guest-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, water treatment and life safety systems.
• Process maintenance requests via HotSOS work order system.
• Perform daily rounds and monitor boilers, pumps, gauges and meters.
• Maintain public areas and facilities, including lobbies and service areas.
• Snow removal and outdoor upkeep.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and stock parts.
