Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a Club Attendant in Long Beach, CA to maintain a healthy, clean facility and provide exceptional customer service. The role involves cleaning, restocking supplies, and assisting with maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming club environment.

The position requires at least a GED or high school diploma, and experience in janitorial work. Applicants should be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. Training provided on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of janitorial experience.
• Ability to follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and dusts walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floor of all areas of club, including locker rooms, weight area, cardio, office space, hallways, stairs, etc.
• Cleans and dusts all weight and cardio equipment.
• Restocks supplies.
• Empties clubs' garbage and recycling containers.
• Completes daily and weekly scope of work as assigned.
• Performs special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Cleans wet areas (pool deck, steam room and sauna, if applicable) and conducts regular pool chemical testing.
• Performs minor cosmetic repairs on equipment and supports maintenance guides.
• Reports facility maintenance issues via Service Channel.
• Reports member complaints to General Manager.
