Job summary

Invited Clubs in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our hospitality team. You will maintain beverage control, ensure accurate pouring, and keep the bar area clean while delivering service that meets member expectations.

You will learn the club's menu, assist with service, greet members, and support a positive team environment, with a focus on safety and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness.
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of service as outlined in the F&B service training program.
• Assist with the service of food and beverages to members and guests at the bar.
• Know members’ names, greet them promptly, provide a warm and personalized experience.
• Accurately execute member and guest orders and requests in a timely manner.
• Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally, notifying management of issues and practicing effective service recovery.
• Prepare the bar area for service by setting up bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice, ensuring all items are fully stocked and in place at the star of each shift.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization; sanitize regularly.
• Ensure daily assignments and side work are completed to meet club standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the a la carte menu, including daily features and specials.
• Ensure all liquor items are stocked, poured, and managed responsibly.
