CLS - F-35 Aircraft Mechanic 3/Airframes/Low Observable (Beaufort SC) - R10192906

Join Northrop Grumman as an Aircraft Mechanic 3 specializing in Airframes / Low Observable at MCAS Beaufort. Support O-Level maintenance on the F-35 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, launch, and recovery activities on F-35 aircraft.
  • Ensure aircraft are in optimal mechanical condition and safe for flight by conducting inspections and servicing all systems per guidelines.
  • Assist with modifications, updates, and record keeping using CMMS/ALIS systems.
  • Support training and update team members on aircraft status.
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and support on-call duties.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Ability to obtain Collateral Duty Inspector qualification within 18 months.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance; ability to acquire SAP clearance.
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous work, access confined spaces, and pass medical evaluations.
Preferred Skills
  • Military certifications such as US Navy/Marine Corps CDI or Air Force A&P.
  • Extensive experience with F-22 or F-35 aircraft.
  • Knowledge of F-35 systems, structural repairs, and low observable maintenance.
Additional Details
