2nd Shift Position: Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 1am

Starting Wage: $26.24

Health Insurance available after 60 days

$500 sign-on bonus after 120-day probationary period

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
2. Complete tooling setup for machines.
3. Set up required fixtures.
4. Program mills and lathes by entering instructions.
5. Load stock into machines, possibly using overhead lifting devices.
6. Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces, adhering to standards.
7. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting; taking measurements; troubleshooting malfunctions; adjusting controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; and following quality assurance procedures.
8. Ensure continuity across shifts by documenting actions, irregularities, and needs.
9. Complete production and quality logs.
10. Perform general cleanup of the work area.
11. Maintain safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Lifting/carrying less than 50 pounds.
• Standing for more than 6 hours per day.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
• Ability to work around machinery.
• Ability to gauge and measure parts using mathematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and repetitive tasks.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Relevant machining experience preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE including earplugs, safety glasses, and metatarsal guards.
