Job Description

Title: Cloudera Hadoop Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Type: Fulltime / Permanent
Compensation: Base Salary + Benefits + Relocation expenses (if required)

Total Experience: 7+ Years

Responsibilities

• Strong development skills using Sqoop, Flume, Pig, HBase, MapReduce and Web Services in Kerberos and non-kerberos environments.
• Experience in Cloudera.
• Strong core Java server-side programming, shell scripting and SQL.
• Good understanding of Hadoop Distributed environment and its ecosystem components.
• Experience in Ingestion Pipeline from various data sources (Relational and Logs) into HDFS and query development using Impala, Hive.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally to deliver appropriate resolution of technical, procedural, and operational issues.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must have strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
