Job summary

Google LLC is hiring a Workforce Planning Analyst to drive budgeting, forecasting, and talent strategy for Google Cloud. You will partner with Finance, Strategy, and People Operations to align investment plans with capacity needs across global teams.

You will influence headcount planning, run advanced analytics, and deliver measurable insights to executives, contributing to sustainable growth and optimized talent deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
• Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, modeling).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Workforce Planning business partner to Cloud leadership and translate investment priorities into capacity models.
• Synchronize Cloud Headcount and Payroll cost planning, forecasting, and LRPs/AOP cycles with Finance and Operations partners.
• Lead productivity analysis and AI-driven modeling across GTM and Engineering to optimize global talent distribution.
• Develop workforce scorecards translating growth strategies into metrics and managing headcount tradeoffs.
• Establish accurate enterprise workforce data foundation and use automation to streamline planning guidance.
