Job summary

Google is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Cloud Finance Emerging Business team. You will model business scenarios, track performance, and provide insights used by leadership to guide strategic decisions across Google Cloud products.

The role partners with Treasury, Accounting, Legal, TI, and other stakeholders to scale our global footprint and support AI initiatives. Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 5 years with a relevant advanced degree.
• Experience navigating ambiguity in transaction settings with multiple stakeholders across business, legal, and financial dimensions.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, AI/ML hardware, and data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive critical processes and negotiations related to transactions that will enable important emerging Cloud initiatives.
• Help develop financial structures that will support new business activity and drive cross-functional documentation.
• Support discovery and design efforts to establish financial data systems or processes for new businesses.
• Build and actively manage financial models that unify inputs from multiple sources for long-term forecasts.
• Prepare high-stakes presentations for executive leadership and the Board, including annual budget and CapEx documents.
