Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Cloud/Virtual Infrastructure System Administrator to support enterprise virtual infrastructure at our Beavercreek, Ohio facility. The role involves designing, maintaining, and enhancing the architecture in a classified environment with emphasis on 24/7 continuity of operations and information assurance.

You will administer Windows and Linux servers, AD, and containerized apps, automate provisioning, and document configurations and baselines.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience as Windows and Linux Systems Administrator supporting patching, installation, configuration, maintenance, and remediation of virtualized servers.
• Experience with DoD/IA requirements and IAT II level certification.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux in an AWS environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Amazon WorkSpaces and EC2 instances running Windows Server and RHEL.
• Provision, configure, administer, troubleshoot management systems and containerized applications deployed in Kubernetes clusters.
• Administer Active Directory domains including account management, GPOs, authentication, and permissions.
• Automate provisioning, OS configuration, software deployment, and routine administration.
• Prepare documentation related to system configurations and baselines.
• Manage backup and recovery services; monitor disk space and file systems.
• Troubleshoot virtualization hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts and access controls in domain or stand-alone environments.

Work hours are normal business hours, however, occasional support during non-business hours may be required. (CompTIA Security+)· Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems within an Amazon environment.· Experience with system hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and configuration management.· Ability to monitor systems, troubleshoot operational issues, and document configurations, procedures, and corrective actions.· Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including provisioning, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting EC2, Amazon WorkSpaces, and AWS Systems Manager (SSM).· Experience with Ansible or other automation tools for virtual infrastructure provisioning and configuration.· Working knowledge of S3, EFS, NFS, FSx, SMB, and NTFS storage file systems, including storage configuration, file-system access, permissions, and troubleshooting.· Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, SSH, LDAP, etc. with the ability to troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.· Understanding of DISA STIGs, SCAP, vulnerability scanning, system hardening, and security remediation.· Experience with PowerShell, Bash, and/or Ansible for system administration, automation and configuration.· Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and configuration records.· Ability to work in an Agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement, collaboration, troubleshooting, and delivery.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies, customers, and senior management.· Ability to manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment.Desired Qualifications:· Prior experience as a System Administrator an organization of similar enterprise size and complexity.· Preferred experience with Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform/IaC, Helm, Git/GitLab, container registries, and containerized applications.· Working knowledge of SSO, OIDC, SAML, IdP, and MFA.· Preferred experience with Keycloak, AppGate SDP, and Zero Trust technologies.· Understanding networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners.Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
